DEI is NOT Dead: See our Published Ad
In advance of Tuesday’s (4/29) critical University of Virginia Board of Visitors meeting, the Jefferson Council placed a bold, full-page advertisement in the Richmond Times-Dispatch on Sunday (4/27), exposing how Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) ideology remains deeply entrenched at UVA — and why it must be removed to protect the university’s founding principles.
The ad will also run Tuesday (4/29) morning in The Daily Progress in Charlottesville, so if you are local, keep an eye out. The strong, positive response shows that many alumni, parents, students, and citizens are deeply concerned about UVA’s future — and are ready to stand with us in calling for real change.
This ad is just the beginning.
On Tuesday, as the Board of Visitors meets, the Jefferson Council will continue to press for transparency, accountability, and a firm rejection of the DEI bureaucracy that undermines free inquiry, academic excellence, and true diversity of thought at UVA. With your continued help, we will help return the University of Virginia to a place where merit, free thought, and true academic excellence are once again its guiding principles.
Stay tuned for more updates following the Board of Visitor’s meeting.
