TJC In The News: CBS19 - Reactions roll in after UVA, DOJ reach agreement

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- The University of Virginia and the U.S. Department of Justice announced Wednesday that they have reached an agreement ending any ongoing federal investigations into the university’s admissions policies.

“My immediate reaction was it is an excellent outcome for the university on numerous levels,” said Joel Gardner, president of the Jefferson Council, a UVA alumni organization.
